A private, offline worship tracker.
Ihtisab is a tool for honest daily self-accounting (muhasabah). It records the five daily prayers, qada make-ups, sunnah prayers, Qur'an reading, and daily athkar. Everything stays on your device — there is no account and nothing to sign in to.
Why don't I see any prayer times?
Prayer times are computed on your device from your location. If you haven't granted location access, the app shows no times rather than guessing. Add a location in Settings (or allow it when prompted) and the times will appear.
Is my data backed up or synced anywhere?
No. All of your records are stored only on your device. There is no server, cloud sync, or account. Deleting the app removes its data, so it cannot be recovered afterward.
How do I change the prayer calculation method or Asr timing?
Open Settings (the sliders icon on the Today screen). You can set the calculation method, Asr timing (standard or Hanafi), and update your location.
Can I correct a prayer I logged by mistake?
Yes. Entries are editable for 48 hours. Tap a prayer to change its state within that window.
How do I revise my qada (make-up) estimate?
Open the Qada ledger and choose "Revise estimate." Revising is expected and normal — the numbers are yours to correct at any time.
